Almost all of the major media, the big newspapers and the leftist TV news programs, have completely lost their credibility with a majority of the thinking people. They are pure propaganda.

In order for propaganda to be successful, the people who believe it must be certain that it is truth. This is done by repeating the same lies over and over and over again and having it come from multiple sources. The assumption is then that it is truth and that there is no need to investigate it for yourself. Thus, the lie becomes truth, and the people believing it will insist they are more of an expert than those who challenge it with alternative facts.

The problem today, though, is that the Internet allows thinking people to investigate the facts on their own. If they are the least bit curious about the "truth" they are being "told", they can use the web to find the facts for themselves. And once they do this a few times, they soon discover that virtually everything the major media is twisted and distorted and often directly contrary to the truth. Or that there are entire stories that the media is completely and intentionally ignoring or downplaying.

So, what was once a source of investigative journalism becomes a source of opinion with a specific point of view, and essentially that is no different than the "World News" or the "Enquirer". Only they aren't as funny to read.

And now, with the media 100% resposibible for the election and coronation of Barack Obama as the reborn Messiah, they have essentially created an impossible criteria for their own validation. In order for the media to be vindicated, Obama must now become as Moses or Christ and perform supernatural miracles. Anything less, and even the devoted followers of both will turn on them, because that is the image they promised.

Just as Clinton was a "Democrat messiah" who actually brought about the Gingrich Revolution, perhaps Obama will deliver the final stake in the heart of the major media propagandists.

We can only be so lucky.

This paper is a rag. It has no integrity.I also had printed a bogus story about Greg "Opie " Hughes from the opie and anthony show. It stated that a sex tape existed of his fiance and Bam Margera. It was totally false and the ran it. The Sun has more integrity than this scummy Toilet paper.

The Bush column was an opinion piece, the interpretation was a valid one.

The Times, by publishing a fake letter against Kennedy is, if anything proof that they try to present both sides.

That should make you happy.

You might also say the same thing about the Palin campaign, as I recall she took a call from a prankster too.

Gannett was bought out by Murdoch, anyone who uses his rags to more than line a bird cage is wasting their money.

The NY Times recentely mortgaged their brand new building in midtown Manhattan because they are broke.

They are broke because their paper is a sham and no self-respecting person would read it.
