Question:
Is Bush really agreeing to a withdrawal of troops from Iraq or is he just playing politics?

According to news sources, Bush has finally agreed to what he calls a "Time Horizon" which supposedly (in his bizarre lingo) means a withdrawal of troops measured out by security reports from the ground.

Do you think he's being genuine this time, or is he just working on McCain's campaign?

If the latter is true - then the troops could be sent right back over there after November... costing even more money and resources.

Gee he seems to be trying out all of Obama's suggestions, A schedule for withdrawal, apeasing Iran, more troops in Afghanistan. Hey If Obama presses on his economic plans maybe we can get them rolling before he gets elected Of course base on the Con posters I have seen here, these are all McCain's ideas!!! Didn't McCain write a shooping guide for the Baghdad green zone?

He's playing politics. He knows he only has a few months left in office, and this is an attempt to change the public's perception of him. It's an obvious attempt to glean some popularity for himself in the history books and among the majority of the American people who rightly see his Presidency as one of the worst in our history. Too little, too late.

He hasn't agreed to withdrawal. A horizon is something you can keep going towards but never arrive. I still stand by my opinion that we are there to stay in one form or another. Iraq's strategic geographical location isn't something that will be given up easily. Plus we all know if BushCo has said it. It can't be trusted.

He's on his way out the door and he wants the last memories people have of him to be somewhat positive. It's a bit late, but his turn for screwing us is coming to a close so he's trying to win a little favor by pretending he wants to do the right thing all of a sudden.

President Bush has always said we will stand down when the Iraqis stand up. We have won the war and are winning the peace and the Iraqis are ready to finish the job.

GOD BLESS GEORGE W. BUSH!

Yes, the liberal American people are forcing us into these positions because of the elections. I blame the American PEOPLE for forcing our President Bush to agree to this CUT N RUN timetable that announces to the various undefeated militias and Iran that we are leaving. Al-Maliki will then cozy right up to the Iranians and reject our oil contracts. Our huge bases will be turned over to the Iraqis. Couple that with the American people forcing our President Bush to APPEASE the Iranians...... man it all fell apart.....

Don't blame President Bush, blame the Liberal American People.
