why do we forget the shoe bomber under Bush when compared with the terrorist attacks under Obama?

Everyone says that there has been no attacks that happened with Bush after 9/11 but Obama had a couple even though two of the attacks didnt even kill anyone just like the shoe bombing... But yes it has still been worse under Obama's watch.

Obama loves ignoring all the bad stuff that happens. There have been at least 2 terrorist attacks attempted while he's been president and he has ignored them. It's like he thinks if he ignores them then they will stop bombing us or something. He needs to return to reality and do something when we are bombed or when we are almost bombed. He also wants to make things great immigrants but horrible for the actual americans. Notice how all the immigrants are getting all the jobs and us Americans are having trouble finding any. Let's not forget the situation in California where a kid wore an American Flag t-shirt to school on Cinco De Miyo, sorry but I have no clue how to spell that, and the principal told him to turn it inside out. When he refused he was told he would be suspended. This is America and we can wear American T-shirts to school and time we want, even if it is a mexican holiday. This is NOT Mexice and we can celebrate our Country even on other Country's holidays if we want. .Amazing how Democrats ignore stuff like this and refuse to look at bad things that current and past democratic presidents have done. Abe Lincoln was a Republican President and he was good. Democrats are all about just letting things go. I bet it was the democratic party that wanted to keep the slaves back in the civil war. Republicans have morals, democrats do whatever they want without thinking about the consequences or how it will affect other people.

Major attacks--like 9/11. However--I get what you are saying. The issue here is that Obama was going to make the world love us, and we still hear people saying he has improved our standing in the world. He hasn't. He is making it worse and in addition is making us even weaker. By saying to your enemies you won't strike back and we are to blame for the ills of the world, you invite it. But if we get right down to the facts--what better time to strike? When we are already so weakened is the best time in the enemy's opinion. So many people now refuse to acknowledge what led up to 9/11 and accordingly refuse to acknowledge we are headed backwards. And Obama saying that they hate our way of life is the most laughable thing I have heard in a long time--they just hate us period, and not for our way of life-but rather because we won't bow down and submit to theirs. I believe that Bush said it right and it goes for Obama, though I am no supporter of Obama. The terrorist only have to get it right once, we have to get it right every time. It is hundreds of law enforcement people that work hard 24-7 to keep us safe no matter the President. As a retired Police Officer from the Ca. Az,. Mexico border I am concerned with the failure to protect and seal the border. The Officers in my city and the neighboring cities have detained and turned over to the Border Patrol illegal alien from almost every country in the world that came across the southern border.
