He lost the popular vote twice. He was impeached twice. He has the lowest approval rating of any U.S. President ever. Saying “he is worst U.S. President ever” is no longer an opinionated statement.

No doubt he is # 1! He is not a president with the biggest smile or the best physical appearance. He might have a personality that might seem a bit abrasive at times but is the president who made the most efforts and invested the most energy in trying to make this country great again, like it once was. On top of that he did that while being falsely accused and opposed time after time  24/7/365 not only himself but his family as well! He has had so many good accomplishments that Bidden has invested quite a bit of time and energy to try to nullify them so far. So in my book he deserves the first place!

Given that he attempted to brutally topple the appointment of 2020, was claimed and worked by Vladimir Putin, was bad, was awkward, introduced total idiots, convicts, and family members in significant positions, lied relentlessly, attempted to quiet the press and electronic media, abused the payments statement, disregarded and blundered the most exceedingly awful transferable illness in 100+ years, advanced phony medications and quack specialists, upheld disdain gatherings, didn't have the foggiest idea how the Constitution functions, liberated heaps of his bad companions from jail or preliminary, overlooked science, permitted a faction following to create, constrained faithful military officials unavailable, had no close to home nobility, would not acknowledge duty regarding mistakes he made, assaulted tranquil demonstrators, offended any individual who addressed him, forced political race authorities to counterfeit the outcomes in support of himself, wouldn't help out our worldwide partners, offered legitimacy to the tyrant of North Korea (and permitted him to develop his atomic weapons capacity), and was an extremely helpless good example; I would say he was the most exceedingly awful of the most exceedingly terrible.

Donald Trump was and is an egoist. I did't care for his tweets and arogant attitude but, I did like the fact that he stuck up for the american ideal of work hard, stand up for yourself, and take responsibility, be honest. These are the principles that people that fought and died inWW1 and WW2 believed. Now this society is bent on destroying everything they fought for. Wow what a world we live in today...

no wars, lowest unemployment, low energy cost, peace treaties in the middle east, built up military, energy independent, fastest vaccine for virus, more jobs for minorities then ever before.  I rate President Trump in the top 5.
2021-02-16 23:41:45 UTC
You can't really say yet.  We have to wait until at least a decade passes.  And we will have to compare him to future presidents.  For example, healthcare became very expensive under Obama.  Gasoline prices were also around $4-5 under Obama.  But during the Obama presidency, many saw him as great.  Also, a lot of people forgot that Trump made a payroll tax cut in 2017.  Let's see how great people will think Biden is if their take home pay goes down $100.

He tried to overthrow the US government (this is not in doubt) and couldn't even get THAT right. The 2nd impeachment had it right - if convicted we wouldn't even refer to him as president at all.

And for the TD's - ya'll are losers just like yer daddy was......

I don't see how it's debatable he's the worst. I know more than enough facts about his presidency. All of us saw the culmination of trumpism when his minions stormed the Capitol at his behest thereby completing the biggest attack on America's democracy by it's own citizens since the Civil War. Except, rep president Lincoln was AGAINST the insurrection. Trump incited and watched it.

Given that he tried to violently overthrow the election of 2020, was owned and operated by Vladimir Putin, was corrupt, was incompetent, installed complete fools, crooks, and relatives in important positions, lied incessantly, tried to silence the press and electronic media, violated the emoluments clause, ignored and mismanaged the worst communicable disease in 100+ years, promoted fake drugs and quack doctors, supported hate groups, did not know how the Constitution works, freed lots of his corrupt friends from prison or trial, ignored science, allowed a cult following to develop, forced loyal military officers out of service, had no personal dignity, would not accept responsibility for errors he made, attacked peaceful demonstrators, insulted anyone who questioned him, pressured election officials to fake the results in his favor, refused to cooperate with our international allies, gave validity to the dictator of North Korea (and allowed him to build up his nuclear weapons capability), and was a very poor role model; I would say he was the worst of the worst.

Only one to lead an actual insurrection - that has to be worth something.

But, he didn't invade the wrong country( GW Bush)  or allow the Civil War to develop ( Buchannan & Pierce) or  allow the Vietnam War to go on two extra years for politics (Nixon)   So, maybe 43rd or tied at 42nd.

Definitely the most morally bankrupt and self centered president ever - you've got to give that.

When I see the Executive Orders of Joe Biden, I must rank Donald Trump in the top 3.  No man worked so hard for the American people as did Donald Trump.  Gas was lowered below $1.50 and it will climb now to $4 or $5 a gal.

Taxes were lowered under Trump, but with Biden we will be taxed to death. There is a reason for the National Guard around Biden, because he will eventually do something that no American can stomach.

I'm generally Conservative but... promoting one's beliefs via being an unrefined obnoxious lout automatically tarnishes everything.

It is hypocrisy.

All of my hard work down the drain -

He ruined the party and made it an extreme right-wing thing to those who MIGHT'VE been on the fence and winnable.

The maniacs who support(ed) him basically handed everything to the Democrats, and being prudent I would say that they earned it... but that wasn't difficult.

After morons forget about him and history takes over, probably the 5th or 6th best. He turned out to be a surprisingly a good Populist Conservative, delivering fairly good on the agendas his constituency ACTUALLY wanted compared to what big business and establishment politicians wanted him to do, especially with the amount of resistance he got from the Left an Right. It remains to be seen if Populist Conservatism will now get a foothold in 2022 and beyond.

If he came up short it was in having to go it more or less alone on illegal immigration, having to rely on the border wall. Then there was his poor professional persona at times through his presidency, especially in poor judgement used to argue the re-election results.

Trump turned economy around, turning it into the strongest economy the country has seen in the last 15 years if not longer (prior to COVID-19) thanks to his use of Supply-Side Economics, including tax cuts and deregulation resulting in, among other things, the lowest Black and Hispanic unemployment on record (again pre-COVID). A number of those economic strengths are still there to fuel the post-COVID recovery if Biden doesn't screw it up with tax hikes and more regulation.

Trump passed tax cuts that benefitted the average working-class to middle-class worker between $500 and $4,000 in tax savings.

His policies allowed the US to become energy independent. This has been due to opening up more area for oil drilling, fracking and some coal production. Resulting in low energy and gas prices. Drawing more companies back to the US in the process because of that.

He has taken on tough problems other presidents kicked the can down the road on for decades. This includes illegal immigration. It includes trade issues with China on issues like American intellectual property, trade imbalances and too much dependency on them in areas like manufacturing, this now on full display due to COVID-19.

He pushed through a major new US, Canadian, Mexican trade partnership (USMCA), eliminating a number of problems with the old one (NAFTA). This put American interests more up front.

He took a very visible stance with the pro-life movement as well being steadfastly behind 1st Amendment religious freedoms.

He took bold steps in the the fight on terrorism, finishing off ISIS, including Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He was not afraid to take the fight to the sources of terrorism, like Iran and Qasem Soleimani all without starting new wars the Left was SURE these these actions were going to do.

He's been key in brokering a historic peace deal between Israel and the UAE. All without needing to drag Palestinian issues into it. The Abraham Accords has since grown to include 5 Arab nations and Israel.

As for COVID-19, Trump implemented restrictions on travel from China in January 2020. Liberals literally called him "racist" for doing so. They were the ones who still hadn't got a grasp of the danger presented by the Chinese coronavirus yet, not Trump. More travel restrictions from other regions as well as other actions were implemented soon after. Trump has been ahead of the game from the beginning.

There has been a bigger effort toward making a vaccine than anytime in American history, with government support. Two are now being deployed. More are on the way.

He has been an outspoken critic of the violent social protests from the beginning (unlike from the Left), even pushing the limits of what he was allowed to do about them himself.

His economic policies have brought back a number of manufacturing jobs, Obama claimed would never return to American shores, remember that?

Having a Republican president brought the ability to place Originalism squarely in it's place as how to interpret law in the Courts. Trump did this this well, most notably the Supreme Court with 3 appointments to it.

He ranks so low that he should not be addressed as a former President.  We should erase him from history. Right now any cities that have the Trump name on a building should be removing his name from said buildings. They can just pass legislation saying no suspected felon can have his name on bold display in the city.

The premise of your question is wrong.  There's been only 45 presidents, Joe Biden was illegally installed in a rigged election and coup where Washington DC is now illegally occupied by troops whose loyalty is to Biden & his Beijing masters, not America.

I would probably put him higher than the middle.  On his handling of the economy and on his lack of starting any wars, he is among the best presidents.  However, in terms of leadership, he is lacking.  In terms of tact and diplomacy, he's probably at or near the bottom.  I'd put him at somewhere above #15 for sure, but not quite top 10. A leader that inspires people to riot and break into the Capitol building both has something going for him and a big strike against him that knocks him down a few pegs.

I would put Jefferson, Madison, Polk, Washington, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Jackson, Kennedy, and Reagan before him for sure.  I think to round out the list, I'd put Wilson and Johnson next.  He probably deserves the next spot at #13.

My personal opinion is that FDR is waaaay overrated, particularly since every other thing he did was ruled unconstitutional by the SCOTUS and way clearly an attempt at grabbing more and more power.

It's funny you ask. People can answer right now for everything they want and give their opinions. But the truth is, that time will tell. And time does eventually tell the truth. So Trump will eventually be noticed as somebody who provide a great benefit to the citizens that he represented. I wish everyone thought about how their legacy would go down and how they would be viewed by the future 200 years from now. Trump will be proud.

I think for the next 50 years schoolkids will be writing essays on how Donald Trump was the worst President ever.

The only question will be whether it will be after America goes down the fascist sewer, or whether enough people will take a stand and say "Not Here, Not Now!"

Andrew Johnson (17) did all he could to restore segregation to the south that took 100 years to over turn legally. But the hearts of too many still even today resist change. After Obama led the nation for 8years, Trump gave new hope for racists and other anti-whatever groups which brought out that divide that tacitly existed since 1619. Slavery was the south until 1865. Then segregation ruled there until 1964. It’s easier to change laws than it is to change hearts. Trump didn’t invent racial discrimination, but took advantage of it and the extent of the damage to our democracy has yet to be seen. So I guess the pair will battle it out at the bottom of the list.

Bottom of the barrel, no question.  But that's just my opinion.  I'd rather listen to professional historians.  In 2018, a survey of 170 presidential historians ranked Trump LAST.  And that was BEFORE Covid-19 and BEFORE his insurrection.  https://time.com/5165686/donald-trump-last-place-presidential-greatness/

I think Donald Trump has a alpha male personality but I don't view him as evil. He did some good things with the economy which was his strength. He is a business man. The pandemic wasn't his stong suite and he try to use comedy. I view him like Chester Authur (similar policies) a man you wouldn't expect to be president but did a decent job. Impeachment is s political tool of the opposition Bill Clinton was impeachment. Trump got 74 million votes the second most votes in America history God forbid Trump ends up in second place. Lol

Without any doubt, he is the most incompetent in my lifetime and I am 75 years old. He failed at the first crisis he faced, Covid. 486 thousand Americans dead in his first term because he did nothing.

Any of the past presidents in my lifetime - Democrat or Republican - would not of let that happen. I am a Republican conservative by nature, only ever voted for one Democrat - JFK. I am relieved Trump has gone, he was such a disappointment and I apologise to you all for voting for him. Please don't let him come back. I rate him zero and last!

In my lifetime there has been George Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush JR, Obama and now Trump... thats the list I have to work with, I can't compare other past presidents because I wasn't alive before hand.

I would rank him as 2nd worst, but he doesn't touch Bush JR's level of corruption! Bush JR was corrupt, he literally caused 9/11 to happen just so he could get his greedy hands on the opiods in Afghanstian, thats why I rank him the worst, he was responsible for 100s of thousands of deaths (I include all the causautlies in the afghan war). Trump for the most part was a class clown, he was an imbecile who nobody took seriously, he did cross the line into all out psycopathy when he arranged for the attacks on capitol hill earlier this year though.

From best to worst

1-Obama

2-Clinton

3-Bush SR

4- Trump

5-Bush JR

Very few people know much, if anything, about at least 50% of all the presidents, so rankings are totally pointless. Let's just accept that Trump was an incompetent egotist  who was a genuinely terrible leader for the country.

Forgetting about all the unethical and illegal stuff he did (which he'll soon face trials for) his policy on China was a failure, his adding of Trillions to the deficit didn't benefit anyone but the top 1%, his COVID handling resulting in the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, his failure to build his promised wall on the Mexican border and inhumane immigration policies are enough to make him the worst President in history.

2021-02-19 23:42:14 UTC
47th?  Yeah, that works

Alright, so... he didn't own slaves or get too far into the whole genocide thing, so maybe not *quite* the bottom.  Then again, with slavery being illegal these days, that's really just conditional and not any reflection of his character.  Same goes for things like genocide ('sup, Jackson?) - like, if given the option within the climate the contemporary/Post WWII developed neoliberal world allows, would anyone really rule out the possibility of Trump giving it a chance?

So it makes this hard.  If you look purely at each president's actions, Trump is very far from the worst.  He'd probably even be in the top half, to be fair.  But if you evaluate each president in the historical context of what was considered "normal" in the developed world during their time in office (or "allowable" - relative to, say, England/all of Europe's imperialist BS at the time, giving US presidents A LOT of relative ethical leeway), Trump would easily be bottom 5.

Long story short, Donald can go suck Ivanka's D.  Om.

Why would he have any ranking under "overall best presidents?"

Now if he was ranked for the following with historical evidence. "Best liar, racist, traitor, ignorant, abusive, blamer, hypocrite, raw meanness, lawlessness, arrogant, deceiver, uncaring, and sociopath. He has clearly earned the "worst president" award in the history of America If #1 is the worst he alone with deliberate choices has sealed the spot.

I am so glad that he will be forever etched into history here in America and the world. His psychological profile will be in every psychology book written in modern history. He will be the subject of dissertations. Political Scholars will use him as an example of the worst president in modern history using his own voice as evidence.

There will still be the crazies that will cry "lies all lies" but perhaps in the future America with EVIDENCE will prove that empathy, truth, integrity, honesty, freedom for all will become the values of the greatest country in the world.

He will be looked upon one day for his America first policies as a top 5 president in American history. His effort to protect American tradition and the constitution, and his work on the economy, jobs, and minority unemployment. That’s what the liberals and media could never understand about us...we liked him because he was for America, for the people. Who cares if he’s blunt and frank and if his personality offends you!? Oh well, it ain’t gona be me suffering under the new admin, and with the liberals controlling the government, media, big tech, education system etc..they’ve defeated the right where it counted the most, and America will now pay a price at the hands of these socialists and marxists...well the America we once knew

He was not a politician, he was not a great orator, he embellished, but he did love this country in spite of negative press and corruption. He was a genius when it came to shaping up the economy, a true business man. People who criticize him on pandemic have marbles for brains. He is responsible for record time in developing a vaccine and getting it to market. I suspect he saves thousands of lives with his quick action.

Not many could take the crap he has and still have 75 million supporters. He will eventually be considered the greatest of all while Biden will be the butt of many jokes.

The people most drawn to this question will be leftists who cannot objectively deal with President Trump.  They are blinded by rage and emotions, so prepare for plenty of downvotes.

President Trump was, without question, one of the most influential, innovative, pragmatic political forces in our history.

His accomplishments are so numerous that even if the media had been favorable, they would’ve struggled to list them all.

It will take time for the screaming fools to settle down.  And historians may be busy in the near future documenting the likely civil war against the leftist insurgents.

But as long as America 🇺🇸 survives this onslaught of evil from the socialist revolutionaries, our grandchildren will hold President Trump alongside Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln.

Well, he lost the popular vote twice, and has been impeached two times in the same term. He also had the most bipartisan vote to convict in all of American history.

He also oversaw over 400,000 CoViD-related deaths, and people brandishing his merchandize did something that hasn't been done since 1814 by besieging the Capitol.

I think it's pretty objective where he's gonna land in the textbooks. You may justify it with whatever you please, but that doesn't negate the facts.

According to several studies done by historians and political scientists of all parties as well as independents Trump ranks second last or 45th out of 46 Presidents based on his performance, legislation passed, goals accomplished, and ability to lead the country on the international scene.  Of course these studies were all done prior to the Covid 19 debacle where Trump admitted to intentionally misleading the American people and his attempt to overturn the democratically elected government of the US through the use of fake claims of fraud leading to the events of Jan 6 which have made the US the laughing stock of not only the free world but the communist world as well.  Based on that he is probably now in 46th and last place.

At the bottom.  Of all the awful presidents, even the more or less somnolent Millard Filmore, the pro-slavery John Tyler, the vividly corrupt Harding, Trump alone was actively trying to upend our well-established, thoroughly vetted democratic process.

Debating the vote is one thing.  Actively trying to have legitimate votes thrown out because they don't suit you, that's something else entirely.

Trump is the first president who ever tried to steal an election.  He deserves to be where he is: out of office.  He also doesn't deserve to be where he is:

I think he's the worst, mostly but not entirely because he incited the failed insurrection against the US Capitol while trying to overturn the results of a legitimate US election.

If that isn't treason against this country, it's close to it.

However, I don't think it matters where Trump ranks among the presidents.  It's not that important whether he ranks last, or next to last, or second next to last. We just like ranking things because it helps our brains to put everything into little boxes.  Trump was, and is, very close to being a traitor, and just how bad a traitor isn't that important.

He is, as Chuck Schumer says, the worst president ever.  No other president has ever stood on the side of an enemy state like Russia and rejected his own intelligence agencies' reports. No other president has ever attempted a coup and tried to stay in power by harming members of Congress using a mob he incited. No other president has failed so miserably in handling a pandemic.  No other president has robbed the treasury by playing golf every 3 days on his own golf courses and charged the government fees for doing it. No other president has been so corrupt and committed so many crimes, including 10 counts of obstruction of justice in the Mueller investigation and forcing a foreign country to make up dirt on his political opponent. No other president has pardoned so many cronies who committed crimes to cover up his own crimes. His behavior is more typical of the dictators of a banana republic than the leader of a democracy.

Best other than Lincoln he never started a war never ordered the murder of children( unlike obama on 10/14/11 and always put america first

45th.

Biden is 46th.

Obama was 44th.

Idk, but Joe Biden is 46, so Trump is at least above that.

Well that dude who bombed japan is THE WORST president ever. Trump never did anything like that. The capital attack doesn't even come close to that horrible attack.

So maybe Trump is 45th?

The guy who was president for only a day is best president ever. Never did anything to make anyone mad xD  only president that could claim that

Number 46 for me
2021-02-16 15:36:31 UTC
Do not care what others think because I know he should be revered as one of the best presidents that ever was.  Him and his elegant first lady: Melania, treated the white house as a place to be respected.

Already Biden & his wife have caused this:  Barking dogs & that means trouble.

Joe Biden’s dogs arrive at the White House — see the photos

www.today.com/pets/joe-biden-s-dogs-arrive-white...

The pups have already made their presence known in the White House. Monday afternoon, the C-SPAN communications director shared a video on Twitter of Biden in the Oval Office, and barking can be...

In some ways dogs are smarter than people & if the dogs are barking there are problems we are not being told about.

I don't know. He wasn't a bad president and he wasn't a good one in terms of decisions. I'd put him above average because of that.

However I'd have to move him below average because of his inability to maintain public order, a positive public image and be a role model. Even after all of Obamas divisiveness he managed to maintain all of that, Trump couldn't.

So below average president Trump. I'd place him somewhere around 30-35.

1 being the best, 46 being the worst.

Top 5 hands down. Imagine, everytime we have an outsider enter into politics, great things get done and the political class are so outraged by it that they condemn them as bad people LOL. The more embarrassing part, the ignorant twats that believe it mindlessly. I have never once spoken with an anti-trumper that I didn't verbally humiliate as I exposed just how little information they use to form their hatred for Trump. They still think Trump built those cages to house immigrant children LOL even though that was debunked within the first few days of the story catching headlines. Obama built those cages and the pictures of crying children were taken during Obama's reign. You can research this information yourself, as all of you should do on a regular basis rather than taking people's word for it like Most of you are guilty of doing. Trump was a raging success, outshining all 3 of his predecessors. Biden? He cost us 10,000 jobs on day one in office and gas prices are already skyrocketing because of it. He's poised to remove our second amendment as well, our most important rights, free speech and the right to bear arms, gone virtually over night. Safe to say Biden will be remembered as a fake president, voted in by voter fraud, that effectively decimated our nation forever.

He is ranked near the top and that has liberals in frantic. He tells it like it is, very high on transparency via twitter, a strong leader towards the outside world with no cowering down, rest of the world especially China and Russia and NK and Iran are happy and cheering that Trump is no longer in charge--- they now have a down hill job with our man Biden and the bleeding hearts of the far left. I do have to say one thing that  Trump was highly respected by the Chinese and Russians during his tenure. He threw no punches or received any. Cannot wait for 2022 to get rid of our turn coat meely mouth politicians who sold out our country along with the heads of major medias. One thing medias need to do is report on EVERYTHING good or bad that is news .

In terms of what Trump accomplished, he rates right up there with Reagan as one of the best presidents we've had in the last 100 years.  Just like Biden, (so far), appears to rank right down there with LBJ and Obama as one of the worst.

To be fair, Joe may surprise us.   But considering the damage he's done in just his first few weeks in office, I doubt it.

2021-02-16 02:11:42 UTC
Reagan in the best president ever, hard to argue that, but I would put Trump 2nd behind him.  He got the economy to 5 decade lows in unemployment rate, middle class wages all time highs, isis eliminated, black unemployment rate record low, stock market highest ever, pretty amazing how well things were.

Chronologically?  #45.

President Donald Trump was not given ANY cooperation for 4 CONTINUOUS years, from the extremist LEFTIST members of the DEMOCRATIC party or the pseudo RINOs of the Republican party.

When Hillary Clinton lost the election in November 2016, she told all her flock to give continuous RESISTANCE to President Donald Trump, and that's exactly what happened.

As a result of this, I will NEVER vote for another DEMOCRAT again.

It doesn't matter what I think of his performance.  It was very adequate in spite of the treatment he got.  And it doesn't matter what others think of my answer.  I have been voting for numerous decades and I have seen history as it was made, so I know what really happened and what was manufactured or changed.

Too many of you here were not around as a working, tax-paying adult for very long, therefore you do NOT know from firsthand experience about the PAST or the WARPED changing of recent American POLITICS.  Consequently, you don't easily or clearly see the direction where American life is headed.

The actions of the political CLOWNS on January 6, 2021 were not that of an "insurrection".  If an insurrection is what was meant to happen, then there would have been a bloodbath.  An unfortune capitol guard was squeezed in a doorway, injuring him internally, severely enough to cause his demise.  He was not struck in the head or shot.  The USAF veteran was shot in the neck while sticking her head through a broken window.  She had no firearm or other weapon.

This supposed "insurrection" is just a verbal extension of the LEFT's "RESISTANCE".

I won't discuss the COVID fiasco.  You can read old newspapers for its development and manipulation of the facts.

Oh, I forgot:

There is no PROOF of WIDESPREAD VOTER FRAUD of the November 2016 election!!
?
2021-02-15 19:40:54 UTC
