The real reason that we have global warming is because we have too much carbon floating around in the atmosphere, CO2, and this is subject to heat absorption from the sun.

This is happening because we are deforesting the planet and destroying the very life force, trees, that divide this CO2 and releases the oxygen back into our atmosphere and the carbon back into the soil.

De-carbonise the air that all life forms need survive and see the change in the World population.

The tipping point for me would be if the" scientist", UN, lame stream media and liberals would stop making things up about GW. If liberal governments would stop the funding for GW and the scientist were not bribed to "find" warming. If there were actual GW, I might believe in GW, but the earth has been warming and cooling since God made the earth. It will continue warming and cooling long after we are gone.

I would start to worry when Gore sells that million $ mansion he built right at the sea shore after telling everyone the seas are about to rise 20 ft. and moves to Denver. When will the global warming crowd get it through their heads that most people believe it is happening, the problem they are having is with that we (people) are responsible for it and we can fix it. Right now most see Obamas cap and trade proposal as nothing but a way to make some people very rich by squeezing more money out of the already overburdened tax payers.

I don't know anyone who denies global warming. It is a naturally-occurring cyclical event. It is warmer today than it was during various Ice Ages, as evidenced by the existence of the Great Lakes and Native Americans. When it warmed following those periods, do you maintain it was due to emissions from the funky car with the big boulder for a front tire driven by Fred Flintstone?

Good, solid scientific evidence openly reviewed and the facts all plain to see. Instead, we get fraud, poor assumptions that are in no way supported and biased, often outright fraudulent, claims and figures.



The climate changes, that is no proof of man caused change. To date, there is no substantive evidence of man caused climate change. Your statement about the NW passage is irrelevant to the discussion. It means nothing but is a good example of how the global warming cultists think.

I do not think it is man made.



I believe the fact the sun has been in a 'solar maximum' for the past decade may have risen the temperature a tiny bit.



The sun just recently entered into it's solar minimum and the next solar maximum is predicted to be the weakest in 100 years... so we will be cooling off a bit now.

I never said I didn't believe it. I am just skeptical about the huge effects some are claiming. And I am more skeptical that the entire world would stop burning fossil fuel as long as it exists. If we don't partake in low cost energy while it's here, China certainly will. So the emissions will occur either way. We may as well get the benefits while they are here.
