The State of Vermont has filed impeachment resolutions against Bush and it’s spreading like wild fire!

The George Bush impeachment movement has arrived, just in time for the March 17 rally at the Pentagon. Here’s the best part! You don’t have to travel all the way to D.C. to perform your Patriotic Duty to America. There will be hundreds of impeachment protest happening across the Nation. Los Angeles is having a massive protest Saturday, March 17th 2007 at Noon.

These are just a few of the locations....
To find a location nearest you..Google. ‘United for Peace : Events’

I support our troops 100% and it’s time to bring them home.

As Americans it is time to make our stand to protect the Constitution and Fundamentals of what this Great Country was founded on. We can Bring George Bush to justice just like Scooter Libby.

Thank you...together we can make a difference... happy protesting!

Shows that there is a God. A small start to hopefully the criminal activities carried out by Bush and his cabinet. Yeah, people will argue that Vermont is a small populated state, but you can't hide the fact that 30 towns regardless of population feel the need to impeach. If more states and cities get on the bandwagon, and demand congress to impeach his ***, it opens up new possibilities for the future prosperity of this country.

People asking what criminal acts, well here's a couple for you:

1) THE PARTRIOT ACT(stripping 7 of the first 10 constitutional rights) which included unwarranted phone tapping, reading of emails, letters.

2)Illegally starting a war, based on false pretexts. Iraq is a false-flag war, for control, oil, military benefiting due to weapons sales.

3) Treason, under the fact of prior knowledge of attacks on 9/11.

These are the ones I do know, I'm sure there are more informed people who could list a lot more.

All these town resolutions along with your protest are not going to change the fact that President Bush has done nothing for which he can be impeached. Are you really that ignorant when it comes to the process of impeachment? If the President does not break a law he cannot be impeached. So go and walk with all the rest of the smelly hippies and idiots who like yourself are so disillusioned about what they can and cannot do with respect to the government and see if anything happens. I will not walk and not because I don't want to see a different President, but because this one is unimpeachable. Yes he's probably done some bad things, but none of them were illegal and impeachable offenses. Waste your time and not the rest of ours with this nonsense. Thanks and have a nice day.

Brenda

I heard about it and it will happen. Like it happened when the Republican lost both Senate and Congress. My husband a Republican laughed when he would see me and my fellow Democrats work with this last election saying that we would never get the Senate and Congress back..and we did!!! Now as for impeachment it will happen as long as we keep probing and working towards this. The country will soon see how we were lied to about many things and sending this country to war that was not to be. Our soldiers are doing what they told to do and it is ashame that our leaders are the ones that are really not supporting the troops.

Looks to me that all the neocons are answering your question.

I am with you and happy protesting to you...keep up the good work..spread the word...PEACE.

Dear Brenda Lisa Katrina ginger Cory Susan Nancy,

Yes I read that and watch a short piece on FOX NEWS. It appears though to be non binding.

I will be in D.C. to protest the war protesters. I will be showing my patriotic pride by supporting the men and their mission.

Again, what specific charge are you going to impeach Bush for?

If memory serves me correctly, a President may be impeached for "high crimes and misdomeanors". What specific crime are you charging the President with?

If you want to make the argument that the war with Iraq has been a trememdous waste of American lives and resources, go ahead and make that argument. At least you can create a defensible position for it. However, this is not an impeachable offense.

When the anti-war starts making these ridiculous statements, it just makes their cause less and less viable.

Big deal Nancy, it's not going to happen. That lawyer is just trying to get air time for his lies and the BS all lawyers put out.

The State of Vermont doesn't have as many people as most big cities in other states...I could really care less...I think I might start a vote to take Ted Kennedy out of office or to make maple syrup illegal...that will fix those Vermont people...(I know "Killer" Ted is from Mass, but he is a Liberal loser like the rest of the area...)

yes, I heard that 30 wonderful villages of vermont wasted their time and money on useless resolutions.

You see public educated children, Bush needs to commit a crime first. None committed so that is the end of story.

Next, Nancy P isn't listening to you. So turn off the computer, go back to class and stop wasting my education tax dollars. Thank you and have a nice day.

Spreading like wild fire! All over the country bumpkin Vermont towns of 50 people each. Yikes, I agree with the other answers, Bush must be terrified! You say you support our troops, so support them...don't belittle the efforts they are making - - - for you.

The best way to make a stand is to vote the bums out, or even better, don't vote the bums in to begin with.

This is one way to contribute, beats the hell outta stupid magnetic ribbon on a car.
2007-03-07 12:36:36 UTC
It's purely symbolic. It doesn't mean anything. Just like a non-binding resolution. But if it makes you feel better go for it. Keep wasting tax payers money!!

Well, he just never broke any law that would impeach him (like Clinton who lied under oath). Yes, he did lie to the world, but never under oath, that's why he can't be impeached right now. You just can't impeach a President when you don't agree with him.

This from the state that elected Howard Dean and a socialist. You are talking about the most liberal state in the union (including California). They won't even punish a child molestor.

What is the total population of these towns, 47 people in each one? That is hardly a representative sampling.
2007-03-07 12:26:51 UTC
Repeating post again? What is this like the 5th time? I have a great idea why don't we send you to Iraq to fight.

PRESIDENT BUSH HAS NOT COMMITTED ANY CRIMES TO BE IMPEACHED!
2007-03-07 12:19:58 UTC
as much as i dislike bush, i would not vote for any city council members who engage in this crap. the city i live in did this, and it cost taxpayers $20,000......that couldve been used for new text books in school, or fixing city streets......but instead it's simply thrown out a window......

waste is inexcusable
