Terrorists are radicals whether Islamic or not. Any group engaged in acts of terror are radical fringes that have broken from the tenets of mainstream groups. Radical Islam is promoting terrorism against perceived enemies real or imagined. There is no difference other than Obama and his administration are seeking to politically avoiding upsetting mainstream Islamics. In other words, an attempt at political correctness. An old saying: "A rose by any other name is still a rose." holds true here as well. As you state potato=putato, pure and simple. Call it like it is, "Islamic radicalism=Islamic terrorism".

Jesus was a radical. Muhammad was a radical. But were they on equal footing?

Wars Jesus engaged in:

...

Wars Muhammad engaged in:

Caravan Raids, Waddan, Safwan, Al Bawat, Dul Ashir, Badr, Banu Salim, Eid, Zakat, Banu Qaynuqa, Sawiq, Thi Amr, Ghatfan, Bahran, Uhud, Al-Asad, Dhatur-Riqa, Badru-Ukhra, Dumatul-Jandal, Banu Nadir, Trench, Banu Qurayza, Banu Lahyan, Banu Mustaliq, Thi Qerd, Hudaybiyyah, Khaybar, Mu'tah, Mecca, Hunayn, Autas, Ta'if, Hawazan, Tabouk and Nakhla.

The willingness to brandish a sword and hack other human beings to death is a distinct difference between Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad. If you tell a Christian that their leader was a terrorist, they're simply going to think you're an idiot, but if you tell a follower of Islam that their leader was a terrorist, it may hit a little too close to home. We might actually be better off if we didn't remind Muslims of this inconvenient truth.

the two Lebanon and Iran are previous, honorable cultures. pass to flickr or such, and seem at pictures that citizens take of Beirut or Tehran -- the two captivating, modern cities. the only Iranian pal I knew in extreme college grow to be humorous and an extremely style individual. i'm specific there is the total variety of people good and undesirable, yet (as right here) ninety 9% are regulation-abiding and appreciate existence. As for anti-American sentiment -- confident it rather is a difficulty-unfastened political view. yet learn ourselves to Iran: think of if yet another u . s . grow to be annoying the U. S. supply up its nuclear arsenal -- there may be outrage between people, and that u . s . may be unpopular. So if Iran isn't endeared to the U. S. superb the call for to dismantle their atomic capability application, i'm no longer greatly surprised the inhabitants and its chief are defiant. additionally, the U. S. isn't unfastened from at times irrational sentiment against different countries: there grow to be an excellent flare-up of certainly anti-France thoughts, only because of the fact they does no longer consider us that invading Iraq grow to be a good thought. good grief! yet only as i understand an excellent number of people who dislike (say) Venezuela's government yet might nonetheless be well mannered and inviting to a Venezuelan pal (in spite of politics), likewise i think of maximum Arabs are comparable.

An 'Islamic Terrorist' faithfully follows the commands and personal example of Muhammad.

Radicalism is the belief system that motivates the terrorist act.

Not a big difference, but an acknowledgement that a belief system leads to these acts, these aren't just bad guys with black hats who do bad things for no reason.

Things like actually knowing there is a difference between a Sunni and a Shiite make a difference, which McCain and Bush never did and got wrong again and again - making us look like out of touch idiot cowbosy.

Islam itself is destructive, oppressive and evil.

I don't care for political correctness.
