Combine that with the calls for the US to abandon the UN Human Rights Charter, which would further weaken the United States standing in the rest of the world and yes Putin could not wish for more.



Throw in trade wars with China, Canada, the EU and just about everyone except Russia and also Trump's constant undermining of NATO and you begin to see the picture... yes ?

The US even being part of the human rights council is a joke to start with, the US is one of the biggest criminals against human rights across the world. It's some kind of sick joke that it was even on that council, just as much of a sick joke as when Obama got the Nobel peace prize.
