...then the department of defense would have carried out simulated acts of terrorism on US soil or against US interests and bame it on Cuba.

I'm not one to harp on conspiracy theories but....if they almost did it in the 60's, then what would stop them from actually doing it now? Is it really that "crazy" to believe the US government would use a false flag operation to go to war?

what better way to present a clear and present danger to the american people than to create it yourself? you'd have total control over the time, place, and enemy. you would even have time to rehearse your spin on the incident! certain parties always find a way to profit from a disaster... and the money trail can be well adjusted and hidden in the aftermath.

as horribly as this administration has treated the law and the constitution, i don't believe that even they have the inhumanity to schedule and carry out such a plan. but upon reading the other instances of false flags in the link, i may just sleep a little less soundly tonight. thanks.

I'm well aware of the fact that our Government will do what they wish, even if it's against the peoples wishes. many times governments of the past have used lies and 911 tactics to start wars with other nations. anybody ever wonder what happened to the Nazi scientist's that were captured in Germany? they were brought over here by our government to finish the findings they started over there. now that the government is releasing (has to release i should say) cia and fbi files it's all coming to light just how messed up our government has become in the last one hundred years.

One of my favorite quotes is by a man named Hermann Goering. He was Hitler's Reich Marshall and this is what he had to say about Government at the Nuremberg trials.....

Naturally, the common people don't want war, but after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it's a democracy or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.

Sound familiar? Of course it does. I can hear the Sheeple baying and bahing from over here.

He didn't, cooler heads prevailed. It's not unheard of that we use black bag operations to provoke or curtail public opinion in "the best interest" of the USA. That does not make it right, or legal, and in current times, totally unnecessary. We have enough enemies (hate mongers) that we don't need a conspiracy to make more.

That was RFK's baby. He thought it up and urged his brother to do it, he was obsessed with getting rid of Castro. RFK wanted to another Maine that got us into the war with Spain. Good thing the President never listened to his brother about this matter.

It's not crazy - look at what bush has done. KRB has a contract to build detention camps in America. Bush has signed an executive order giving himself total control of the govt, including tribal govts and all branches of govt. Bush has signed an executive order allowing him to seize our property on his say so alone. Now, we learn pastors are being trained to instruct us all that the govt is from god and we should obey it (GOTT MITT UNS!) and the FBI says the big threat to America is internal. (Yes, Bush and Cheney, but I'm afraid the FBI means the big threat to Bush and Cheney, whom you are supposed to see as America, is the American people.)

Comrade, these are scary and dangerous times.

Maybe that's why Clinton launched an attack the day the House was voting on impeachment.
