He has certainly said a lot more stupid things than Palin ever has.

Saying stupid things is a big difference from thinking stupid things. That's Palin's problem.

Not true. Everything is relative. In the very short time span Palin has gaffed at a rate exponential compare to Biden. Biden usually just uses words that get beeped out. Palin on the other hand, makes ignorant comments. The last one was the goof about Ron Reagan's college years. Isn't something there is not a furor over seeing Palin's college transcripts, all 6 copies, one for each university she attended.

Well, the job of VP mostly consists of attending things that the president doesn't want to attend and waiting around for the president to die. I have a feeling that either of these two people would do these things equally well. The thing is, if the president did bite the big bazooka, who would you rather have as president. Obviously, conservatives would rather have a conservative (Palin) and liberals, including me, would rather have a liberal (Biden).
In spite of all the hyperbole and exaggerated rhetoric, I don't see any need to make any more of it than that. Have someone put cameras on YOU 24/7 and see how hard it is to not say something that will sound ridiculous to somebody, especially with everyone play "gotcha" these days. I don't know how most politicians put up with it.

Nobody has said more stupid things than Sarah Palin! Nobody. Let's see, why do I think Biden is a better BP than Palin would have been? He knows Russia is not in sight from Sarah Palin's back yard. He knows what the VP is supposed to do. Palin quote "They're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom." He knows there's no "Department of Law." Palin says "I think on a national level your Department of Law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out." Biden knows who's in charge. Palin, not so much: "''That's exactly what we're going to do in a Palin and McCain administration.'' I doubt that Biden ever illegally used Canadian health care. Palin speaks out against the new health care reform, but says "''We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada. And I think now, isn't that ironic?'' Biden understands branches of government. Pail said "''I'm the mayor, I can do whatever I want until the courts tell me I can't.'' when citizens of her town objected to some of her ideas. Biden knows where Afghanistan is. Palin, not so much "''They are also building schools for the Afghan children so that there is hope and opportunity in our neighboring country of Afghanistan.''
Got lots more from Sarah. But I'll leave you with this one from her speech when she QUIT as governor of Alaska:
''It may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: 'Sit down and shut up,' but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out.''

Palin thought that the VP actually had power over the senate other than tie breaking, and a job other than what the president tells you to do. Usually it is a good idea to vote for someone who knows what job they are running for hence NOT palin

They've bought the rhetoric and can't distinguish the real Palin from Tina Fey.
As an observer of Biden for years since I live pretty close to Delaware, I can assure the world that he does NOT have superior intelligence.

Biden has never quit while in public office.
He is not a maverick.
Plus, he can't see Russia from the White House.

At least Biden never suggested to his family that he could pass off his grandson as his own biological child.

But see, Biden is their idiot, so they'll defend him to the death.
I'm surprised the CDC or the FAA (or both) didn't have him removed from office after making that stupid statement about H1N1 being in plane ventilation systems. He could have started a genuine public panic with that one, and both organizations were furious with him.

I expect Biden to die in a plane crash before the 2012 election.
Totally by accident, of course.
