and I was wondering if that was getting here anytime soon? Or was it cancelled out by global warming? Or are we going to freeze and burn at the same time?

What exactly is going on? I bought lots of sweaters, so please advise.

Malthusians have been predicting the end of the world for the past 250 years. Their predictions have been about as accurate as the fundamentalists…zero….



Actually the Malthusians do not so much care what the predicted disaster is going to be, as they care about the solution they offer (and it is always the same solution no matter what the world-ending disaster is). A world-wide command economy in which all nations and all people are forced to participate in must immediately be declared, and THEY should be put in charge of administering this global command economic system because they are so wise and benevolent only they can be trusted to deal fairly with everyone. Worldwide rationing of resources, a strict police/military authority to insure compliance, and acknowledgement that THEY are “wise and benevolent” (and the peons should grovel when in their august presence) would be required.



Sound a lot like Soviet style Communism? Yeah, I thought so too. So…how’d that work out….????

Do some research about what scientists were saying at the time. The vast majority of scientific papers were predicting warming, and a very small percentage were predicting cooling.



It's not the fault of "the left" which findings happened to get press coverage.

We're in the middle of the biggest heat wave/drought in the history of the USA and you are slinging around doubts about climate change? Tell your grand children how you didn't believe in climate change and tell them why you didn't do anything about it. Actually, as weird as this sounds, global warming might actually cause temperatures to fall in Europe and North America. I'm not that good in science, but it has something to do with the poles melting and causing the Gulf Stream to slow down.

I was in my late teens and early 20's when that liberal lie was being spewed and we could see through that B/S just as clearly as we can see through this global warming B/S. In fact, living through that lie never happening made it easier to see that global warming was just another loser lib scam designed to separate the American taxpayer from more of his/her money.
