5 million people dont have healthcare because some republican states refuse to expand medicaid...it would cost states absolutely nothing...
i already heard about tragic story of charlene gill.who died simply because of republicans refusing to expand medicaid in florida.
evil repubs makes me sick...

I am Irish and live over in Ireland so this doesn't affect me....but my god you guys have been screwed. I mean you dont have healthcare because you spent all your money on weapons and the statistic is something like: America spends the most on weapons and the next 20 countries down the list are all allies....who are you afraid of that you need to spend all that money on weapons and not watch your health. Also your education system sucks...I mean there are great colleges but when I finish my degree in a couple of years I will walk out of uni and have NO debt whatsoever and have a good degree in applied physics. And I would not have been able to afford the degree but the government pays the fees for me with a grant like everyone who cant afford it.



America needs to start looking after its people more....good luck

I can't believe so many are clueless. First 3 yrs, medicaid pays 100%, yr.4-95%, yr5-94%, yr.6-93%, and so on until it reaches 90%, in 2020. States can't afford not to take it. All these lies, and stories are told to you, either because they hate Dems or Obama or both. This attitude doesn't improve quality of life. Health Insurance, no matter what form it comes in, gives people peace of mind of the unknown. And blue states, and the 8 red states that took the medicaid are already seeing healthcare costs go down. These "no" states will not see premiums or healthcare costs go down until all healthcare providers get paid. Right now policy holders are still going to pay high premiums for those who have no healthcare. Are you too hard headed to realize that your stance will keep you in that "rut"

Several states did not expand Medicare because the federal government is only going to help cover the added costs for a few years then the states will have to cover all costs which will bankrupt most states!



There is a woman who has had 2 brain surgeries and who was exicted for BFD O'Bamacare. She went and signed up and paid for coverage! When she went to get a perscription it was turned down because she was no where in the system! Once she got the straightened out she found that none of the neural doctors she had been seeing for several years were on her plan!

As much as Obama has lied with regard to health care and especially the ACA, there is simply NO BELIEVING anything that comes out of his mouth right now.



Regarding the Medicaid expansion...it most DEFINITELY will cost the States, because in a year or two the fed cash flow disappears, and States will be left to fend for financing the expanded program that is ALREADY a budget buster without the expansion.

What you said is not true. The Federal Government (the tax payer) foots the bill for the first couple years then the Government dumps it on the states. Some states will not survive when they suddenly have to come up with the billions of dollars they are now responsible for.
