Well, what do you do after the Yates incident in the Justice Department? Trump is keeping some democrats in office to maintain continuity until their replacements arrive, but the democrats are refusing to do their job. Meanwhile, the democrats in the Senate are playing games of holding up the nominations for the departments, such as Sessions' who will be the new Attorney General. And, the democrats news propaganda is saying that Yates was too important to be fired, that national security is now at risk. So, what should Trump do? My suggestion is that he make a phone call to Schumer, who is behind all of this and get his promise that this is the end of it, and that the Presidential nominations will proceed quickly. If Schumer won't give such a promise, Trump should fire all the holdover democrats (there are about 5000 of them) and get them out now. Trump should then nominate Sessions as the Acting Attorney General until such time that he is approved by the Senate. Then follow with appointing all of his cabinet the same way. In the meantime, McConnell, who is the leader of the Senate, should bring all of Trumps nominees to the floor of the Senate and have them passed by the republican majority. Trump should also have a heart-to-heart talk with McConnell and find out why he is being outfoxed by Schumer.

Sure, might as well accelerate his downfall.

He'll just be given time to do all the dirty stuff Republicans don't dare do openly. They'll say he's 'independent' and a 'Maverick' and "doesn't represent conservative values" when the proverbial guano hits the fan, despite his 100% approved neoliberal cabinet.
