Dear asker, it is because the said community is not minority actually. It is the most united agrrasive majority and a strong vote bank for the rulers. They enjoy their combine vote to rule on us- the group of real scattered poor minority divided in number of casts, languages, regions, faiths, basic religions etc. This is the main reason behind it.

ALMOST 97% OF THE MINISTERS IN THE CURRENT CONGRESS GOVERNMENT ARE HINDUS. I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT AMOUNTS FOR MINORITY APPEASEMENT.
