THIRD Internet Cable cut - TEHRAN 100% Outage
The first cable - the Fiber-Optic Link Around the Globe (FLAG) is a submarine cable linking South East Asia to Europe via the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East. was cut at 0800 on 30 January, the firm said.

A second cable - SEA-ME-WE 4, or the South East Asia-Middle East-West Europe 4 cable - was later cut.

A THIRD submarine cable in the Middle East has been cut.
The Falcon cable, owned by a firm which operates another damaged cable, led to a "critical" telecom breakdown, according to one local official.
The cause of the latest break has not been confirmed but a repair ship has been deployed, said owner Flag Telecom.

So what? We cut Iran (and just about everyone else in the region) off from the internet. I bet they're really upset that they can't check their facebook pages. That's really going to bring the army to their knees.



Severing the internet cables is not a big deal, especially as they can be reasonably easily repaired in a few days.

we live in an area where the B-2's refuel overhead... Almost every time we have heard them, the next day the tv says we are bombing somewhere... Heard them last night

Come on. we are not going to have a direct war with Iran. we are over extended as it is. we've spent billions getting Iraq's military back online (kind of). we are going to let them fight Iran for us like they used to. Notice how we finally gave up trying to appease everyone and sided with the Sunni's. Iran is shia aren't they?
