They still sarcastically say "blame bush" when the reality is, no one man has arguably ever done so much damage to America. We may never recover. He converted prosperity/the best budget of any president in our lifetime to deep recession/$1.4T deficit.

I've seen where some experts projected America would have been debt free by 2004. All he had to do was maintain the fantastic budget he inherited. Instead, he put his right wing "proven failure" top down economic spin on the economy ... drastically slashing revenue w/ tax cuts heavily weighted for the wealthy, signing every spending bill to cross his desk, starting 20+ yrs. of wars w/ no way to pay for them etc.

Roughly 6% of the budget pays interest. If America was debt free like it should have been, that money could be used to put Americans to work w/ good paying jobs fixing the infrastructure.

Bush sent people stimulus checks and everyone went, atta boy georgie you da man. Then the economy crashed to the brink of depression.

And if that isn't bad enough, the GOP has more of the same planned w/ the Ryan budget which calls for HUGE tax breaks for the wealthy, sacrifice f/ the rest of us to compensate for it while adding significantly to the DOD sieve of corruption.

America can't afford another rep president. The GOP economic policies make the rich richer at the expense of the rest of us.

If there were crimes, wouldn't it make sense to have Bush answer for them? Do you want to start a precedent of having an entire political party take the blame? Careful what you wish for.

That's odd Bush hasn't been president for 7 years. Are you trying to deflect?

I'm not sure.

But the fact that Bush has only left the U.S twice in the last 7 years (and not outside the hemisphere)....... odds are good that Bush is well aware that people have not forgotten.
