Why is nearly every mass shooter a democrat?

Yeah, there's always that one guy who isn't, but it seems like for every 10 mass shootings, 9 of them are democtats. The last time I remember a mass shooting being carried out by a republican it was the Charleston church massacre. There have been 4 or 5 since then and they are all democratic. Why do democrats commit so many mass shootings?
