Plenty of people do this drug, and yet there's plenty of safer LEGAL drugs available out there.

alcohol, nicotine, and caffeine. they have no negative side effects and are completely harmless.

The government has pot illegal for a reason, why do so many people take this lethal drug which has killed more people than any of the drugs combined?

"Harmless" marijuana all too often leads to other, more powerful and genuinely deadly drugs."

Bullcrap. That's just flat out not true. I know many, many people that have smoked pot for many years and never have done anything harder than that. Anyone that would move to "more powerful drugs"" would have done them anyway, and there's no evidence to suggest Marijuana is a gateway drug. In fact, if ANYTHING is, it's alcohol. Should we try banning that again?

Did you take something to make you a bit soft in the noggin.

Alcohol, tobacco have caused Billions of deaths. If they had just been developed today there isn't a chance of them ever becoming legal. Weed and resign have never killed anyone.

Stick to watching big pictures as you have something shorting out in ye heed.

"Harmless" marijuana all too often leads to other, more powerful and genuinely deadly drugs. There are countless millions of marijuana users, particularly the young, who think they can handle anything, so I'll just step up to meth or coke or even heroin.

Making any comparison between alcohol use and marijuana use is a classic non-sequiter. It's like saying that it's okay to kiss a rattlesnake because they're less deadly than cobras.

Coffee can only kill you if you drink an amount that couldn't possibly be contained in your body at one time. The same is with marijuana, only not as a liquid. Now where is your medical report of a marijuana based death?

Or you can cover your ears and believe what you want..

LOL marijuana is not a gateway drug. if it was legalize it would be harder for potheads to get a hold of crack or something cause they would not know a drug dealer to offer it. Hypothetically talking if there was a legal pot shop it wouldn't offer its customer's crack smack or twack.lol

It's a sad story, really. So many young minds laid to waste, and all thanks to the evil clutches of the demon-crop Marijuana. Satan's bastard child.
