Why do liberals seem to like Ted Cruz better than Trump (his supporters believe gays should be killed! He's way worse than Trump!!!!)?

I think Ted Cruz is evil, but for some reason all the liberals are going after Trump. Well good job, cus that makes Ted Cruz more likely to win. At least he would be able to run in the general election. I don't understand you liberals...Ted Cruz is a million times worse than Trump. HOW could you prefer Ted Cruz over Trump??? Ted Cruz's supporters believes gays should be killed...he wants to ban abortion so if a young rape victim gets an abortion she has to go to prison for a very long time. This Ted Cruz guy is so awful I don't even know where to begin. Trump is heavenly compared to him. Trump says stupid sh*t but he's really not that bad.
Im REALLY really nervous about the thought of Ted Cruz winning. I'm so paranoid ; ( He's really awful. I don't understand why liberals seem to prefer him over Trump. Why??? I'm sorry to say this...sorry if this is offensive...I used to consider myself a liberal but over the years I've begun to believe that liberals are really dumb. I think liberals could ruin a country just as much as any conservative. I don't think liberals really think with their brain. Maybe it's true that most people are unintelligent? And that's why the few that are intelligent have to suffer because of the stupid choices made by the majority who are not very intelligent? I'm really beginning to believe, as I grow up and learn about life...that intelligent people have to suffer a lot.

You're 180 degrees out of phase. Its the liberals, the cross-over democrats who are voting for Trump. Cruz's support is mainly from the Conservative side of the Republican Party.



That is why he is expected to win in the blue, (northeastern states) while Cruz polls high in the more Red conservative states.

No I agree. I find Trump shockingly crass and his abortion penalty remark unforgivable, but Cruz is a religious maniac. Hello, Christian sharia law. Fundamentalism, now backed by corporatism? Worse case scenario. Trump, at least, is so inconsistent that one can hope there is still some rational ability and not bad hearted sentiment there. Cruz is a pure hack and Talibani.

You have very little faith in the American system even after watching it very publicly crush Obama's quasi-worship and aristocratic aspirations. Afterwards, the system even forgives the humiliated and crestfallen, drawing upon any decent personal qualities they possess and fully exploiting them for everyone's benefit. It would be no different with Trump or Cruz. The American system doesn't cower from lunatics, aspiring aristocrats and tyrants, it actually welcomes them to the public stage to be exposed and humbled for our collective generational instruction. Have a little faith in the brilliance of the founders' system and the Creator from whom we derive our natural liberty and which we only experience through the perfect tension of the two opposing political forces, ('bicameral').

I would give either candidate support to ensure a rough parity of support and ensure that both run in the general election. ie. Cruz wins, making Trump run as independent. That ensures a Dem victory.
