How come the President, Black leaders and Libs will not "honor" this young man?

On Thursday, July 11, police discovered the rotting body of 17-year-old Darryl Green, a black child from the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. Green’s body was found behind a boarded-up house in the 6500-block of South Damen, face down on basement stairs. The body was so badly decomposed that originally, local news reports suggested that he had died of blunt force trauma. On Friday, an autopsy showed he had been shot to death. Relatives reported that Green had refused to join a gang at school.

Meanwhile, members of the media including Reverend Al Sharpton and Reverend Jesse Jackson focused on the “not guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman trial over Trayvon Martin. The only media outlets that have covered the murder of Darryl Green are The Chicago Sun-Times and ABC 7 Chicago. The New York Times’ Joe Nocera mentioned Green in passing in a blog post devoted to highlighting gun crimes across the country. President Obama has not commented on Green’s death. Neither have any other politicians, including local Congressmen Danny Davis and Bobby Rush, or Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Neither has anyone at MSNBC, CNN, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, The Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters, or throughout the Hollywood community.

We ALL know why this child's life means nothing to the President, it means nothing to Black leaders and it means nothing to liberals. And that is the saddest statement on the American left I can think of.

You miss the point



What makes the Trayvon Martin case worse is not the race of his killer but the actions of the authorities in letting him go free.



As if the lives of black people do not matter. As if they are not worth protecting.



What becomes of black-on-white murderers:



1) Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom murders:



Lemaricus Davidson: death by lethal injection

Letalvis Cobbins: life without parole

George Thomas: life without parole



2) James Kouzaris and James Cooper murders:



Shawn Tyson: convicted of two counts of first-degree murder

John Sanderson murder: three suspects arrested



3) Frank Motta murder:



Treven Lewis arrested and charged with second-degree murder

Nancy and Bob Strait murders:

Tyrone Dale David Woodfork arrested and charged with first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, two counts of armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon



4) Robert Purvis murder:



Brian Beasley: life without parole

Hannah Wheeling murder:

Brian Wonsom: 85 years



What becomes of white-on-black murderers:



1) Ramarley Graham murder



Richard Haste: no arrest, no charge

Trayvon Martin murder



2) George Zimmerman: no arrest, no charge, charged, then no guilty



See the difference ?



This is about a miscarriage of justice. That is the very reason for the protests – because without them little will be done.



Despite what some say the media circus over Trayvon Martin is the exception not the rule.



When you read about murdered whites sometimes they say nothing about the arrest. Because it is just assumed that the police arrest suspects.



And that is the thing: White civil rights go back hundreds of years and are taken for granted. Black civil rights only go back to the 1960s and cannot (yet) be taken for granted. As the Trayvon Martin case makes clear

Honestly...i haven't even read the story about the kid..not the full one. cause it'll just leav me angry or hurt. but no ones doing anything because the gov doesn't give two shits weather were live or dead, just as long as we pay taxes when were alive and try to be straight. lol. Its ****** up dude...but look around. nothins changed. the death of one child is nothing in the minds of blood thirty/ money hungry human beings.
