I'm not sure what the conservative agenda is on global warming. It's mind boggling to me that many conservatives attack global warming like it's some made up sham. I think alot of it has to do with Christians' belief that the world can't possibly be destroyed by humans; only by God.

Conservatives do not deny that the global climate changes. Conservatives do not accept that humans are the cause of the climate change, be it Global Warming (this decades claim) or Global Cooling (the claim from the 1990's)

After all, was it dinosaurs driving SUV's that caused the end of the last Ice Age?

We are not denying that the earth can be warming. We deny that man can make it happen. One giant volcano like mt st Helen's spewed more things in the air then man ever has. Toxic gases, ash, and lava. How many volcano's have erupted in the past millions of years? Do the math. Forest fires used to burn for thousands of miles before nature put them out.

That's why... it's not called "GLOBAL WARMING" any more... It's now called "CLIMATE CHANGE"... that way they can PUNISH US by taking more of our money - when it's cold in the winters and hot in the summers.

The Global Warming Mantra was getting a little embarrassing - when AL GORE would show up for a SUMMIT in SAN DIEGO - wearing a COAT.

It's a lazy argument. I maintain that global climate change is very real. I reject the theory that man is contributing to it in any great degree. Sure, we could afford to clean up our act a little but we cannot stop the cyclical changes in our climate that are going to happen regardless.

they attack from every angle possible -- some accept but say it is not man made, others yell and scream that doesn't even exist

ice burgs floating in Australia has to do with the fact that it broke off the south pole probably due to global warming -- all be it Australia has cold water, they won't last for ever because it is not near cold enough

When Liberals say there is global warming, in their ignorance and arrogance, do they think that in the millions upon millions of years of Earth history that this has NEVER EVER occured before and that it is NOT cyclical and natural?

You cannot deny that there is a fear that is being injected into the debate by the Greenies. There are glaciers in Chile that are GROWING!

I do not dispute the fact that man has a negative affect on the environment but to go as far as to say that our exhaling carbon dioxide, the life giving element to al plants, is ridiculous, over the top, and an attempt to pull the wool over naive persons eyes.

Did none of you learn this in junior high science. We breathe in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, plants take carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen for us to breathe.

Yes, there are things we could do to lessen our impact on the environment but to go to extremes and start promising at Cop15, for the US to give 100 BILLION to developing countries like CHINA, S. AFRICA, and BRAZIL to clean up their act???? We don't have the money!! Hell, we borrow billions from CHINA to BAILOUT our own industries such as banking and auto!

You want to bring up helping Brazil going green? George Soros, Billionaire who oils Obama's wheels, invested billions in Brazil's oil industry but at home he uses his group, MoveOn.org, to slam domestic oil producers and fights the opening up of the US drilling off it's shores. Did you know that China drills 13 miles off the coast of California. General Electric, NBC owners, is set up to make Zillions off cap and trade and buy politicians and do not care about the environment but becoming a world super power in their on right.

If you are listening to the politicians and the guy who invented the internet then you are getting your info from the wrong source. Notice also where the Greenie scientist, who say we are up shi+ creek aleady, get their BIG endowments and research money. These guys are getting rich off of findings that say the earth is cooking because of man.

THE GLOBAL WARMING (or is it Climate Change now) RELIGION IS ALL ABOUT RICH GETTING RICHER, WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION, AND POWER GRABBING. YOU THINK BECAUSE THEY HAVE A (D) AFTER THEIR NAME THEY ARE SOME SORT OF "DIFFERENT" POLITICIAN?

The earth is cycling threw different normal weather patterns. Granted the cycles could be 100 plus years.

They don't believe in science. Since they live in a world ruled by spiritual entities and "purest idealism," there's no point in trying to converse. They don't live in our reality.
