Question:
If my kid gets a facial tattoo, is it guaranteed that he'll be begging me for money as he'll be unemployable?

My son is almost eighteen, and he already has an Insane Clown Posse tattoo etched into his forearm. He did it by himself with a needle and some red ink. I'm impressed that he actually spelled it correctly! He's got a book on facial tattoos and has been drawing some on his face with a marker before heading off to school. He talks about how he wants to get some "art" on his face when he turns 18.

Does this guarantee that he'll be asking me for money until the day I die as he'll be pretty much unemployable?

I don't think there are any employers that would be willing to hire him, unless the job involves his being hidden in a basement somewhere out of public view. I know I would not hire him.

My advice would be to tell him that when he turns 18, you are giving him the boot, and if he has doomed his employability with a facial tattoo, that will be HIS problem and you are not going to support him financially.

I am sure the welfare office won't care about his tattoo, nor will the prison system.

Tell him not to and give him the required support, outline to him that in later life getting laser treatment could damage his facial skin and that if he chooses not to remove it, the likelihood of him getting employed is small.

I wouldn't employ someone with a facial tattoo.

I thought the tattoo only said ICP?

I think you'd be better off in the parenting section.
