Question:
VA Governor Reversing govt forced health law and enforcing Immigration laws? How Come Obama isnt suing VA?
?

I too think the health forced insurance bill is unconstitutional, and that congress doesn't have the authority to force citizens to buy a product.
And now is seems a federal judge may agree in VA, disallowing the feds motion to dismiss and now it moves to trial.

So why isn't Holder going after VA like they are AZ?

And secondly, do you like the VA Gov's suit to stop the health law in his state? as there are 22 more states who will be following his suit.?

what say you?

You should also ask why he's not suing RI and NY as well. Rhode Island has had such laws in place for years but you don't hear them calling them racist or wanting to sue them.

In fact there are 21 blue states that do not support Obama on this. Yet, there is not ONE liberal willing to make the first comment to any of the Democratic governors of these states. Hypocrisy anyone?

The Democrats have a slight chance of getting a positive vote from VA so they will do nothing to upset that chance come November.

AZ? There is NO WAY AZ will go Democrat this November, so Obama has little political risk going after them.

Wait until AFTER November and see what Obama does if he isn't destroyed by the voters in this mid-term election.

On the side, I might speculate that the ability to allow uncontrolled access to the USA by all those he wants sneaking in my be a more important issue to him than delivering health care to the poor. Once the USA succumbs to the invaders, he can do whatever he wants with impunity.

Holders plate is full fighting the Arizona law, and they are bitterly awaiting the outcome of the primaries and the election in November. Once the November elections are over, they will do all they can to make our lives miserable until the newly elected take office in 2011.

I hope more states enter into a lawsuit to dismiss this monstrosity that violates our rights. It makes you wonder who screwed up the heads of all those who are for contracting their own liberty.

Obama won Va. He doesn't want to tick off the people who voted for him here. I live in Va, and I totally support Gov. McDonnell on these issues. He has been a good so far, we are out of debt, for the first time in 8-9 years, and he didn't raise taxes. The thing that is different is McDonnell is an attack dog, and Brewer is not.

The Obama administration broke the previous checklist for deportation of unlawful immigrants which became into set via the Obama administration, fines accumulated from agencies that hire illegals, and form of border enforcement brokers on the border. FYI Even the state of Alabama is attempting to overturn aspects of their very own regulation.

No one is "forced" to purchase anything under this bill. You either do, or you don't and pay a small fine. You decide.

So the entire premise your question fails.

As to why Obama isn't suing VA, perhaps it's because VA is suing Obama.

There again, a complete failure of logic.

Because holder is rather busy and 0bummers been on vacation, VA is a state he& the dems needs so he so he is letting it play out for the moment, as with 0bummer it is about the vote not the issue

As a Virginian, I'm very proud of our new Governor and his administration.

As to why Obama is not suing Virginia, it is probably because our governor is a man and Arizona's is a woman. Liberals like to pretend that they're all about equal rights and opportunity, but in reality and by their actions, they actually believe that women and minorities are inferior and in need of special treatment, they're hypocritical bigots.

Maybe it's a miscalculation on the feds part. Virginia has a male governor and Arizona's is female. They seem to think that women are weak and try to browbeat them. It just makes them stronger ~ look at how Palin is still going strong.

the gov. has already filed suit in AZ... what happens in that suit will impact all other states...

and VA is suing the gov. over health care... again, the results of that case will impact all the other states...

in short... both are already in court, and those decisions will impact VA... Obama isn't suing VA because he doesn't feel like wasting your money or time...

Because Holder only does what his boss tells him. He has no regard for what is right for the people.

Ten states are also debating it, so expect more bad news for Obama to come.

It's his prerogative, however when it falls flat on it's face will you be surprised?

I for one will not.

Virginia is on the east coast, so they're allowed to do what they want.

Because VA hasn't written state law that is a federal matter.
