Question:
Should we treat the Herman Cain sex scandal like the right-wing handled...?
2011-10-31 11:03:48 UTC
...the Birth Certificate thing?

This would mean that Cain could provide a written statement from the gals faking the scandal, BUT we wouldn’t believe it - claim it was a forgery - or that they were “bought off.” And we continue to call him a sexual predator. No matter what happens, no matter the evidence, no matter if Cain is a good guy -- we will continue to call him a sexual predator every day for the next year, even though we know it’s not true. And 1/3 of the people will then “wonder” if he’s a sexual predator. Like 1/3 of Republicans still think Obama was born in Kenya. You know, just enough to turn some people off.

“Where’s the Certificate of Proof that You’re Not a Sexual Predator, Herman?”

If Clarence Thomas, a Supreme Court justice, can overcome such ridiculous allegations, so can Cain.

This is much ado about nothin'... And last I looked, being accused of something does not make you ineligible for being a President... Whereas not being a citizen is.

In any case, by Politicos own admission, the case was settled and is not a disqualifier from running for office... May I remind you that originally we were told that there is NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE at all. Next we were told that there is a certificate, but it is only in the "Hawaii version" because that's 'how they do it differently then us' so accept this paltry copy. Next, after Trump continually prodded, WALLA! THERE IS SUDDENLY A BIRTH CERTIFICATE! And it only took THREE YEARS to produce! next, We are told what a "legal genius' Obama is and yet: SHOW ME ANY HARVARD LAW SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT let alone PROOF that he even attended Harvard Law... or is a diploma a "privacy concern'? What you people are REALLY worried about is that there is the distinct possibility that these 'victims' may be [gasp] WHITE. O. M. G.!

You guys considered Clinton's affairs to be his "private life", I have seen no evidence that Cain did those things.

And if you look at the BC, you will find it isn't a document written in the 60s.

Clinton? Kennedy? Edwards? Hypocrite.

Excuse me, but Barry-O sat in the Oval Office the entire time the Birther thing was being tossed around. Do you think Cain should be treated differently, and condemned for something that, as of now, there is no concrete proof of ?

I am above slander, but in your case...I'll make an exception.

You sir are a moron.

Clintons mistress before the 91 election came out and people thought he was done for. He won by a landslide. Towards the end of his second term, he is impeached for the Monica Lewinsky scandal, but he still got to finish his term(with high approval ratings mind you).

i think it's a way for the people behind the other republican candidates to discredit Herman Cain.

i don't think it has anything to do with liberals or democrats trying to under-mind his campaign.

i'm a liberal and i'm taking Cains side until he has been proven quilty.

in this case, yes, because the devil is in the legal details

a large cash settlement was awarded to a woman for sexual harassment when he was the CEO of the Restaurant Association, and that is on record

so, for him to say NOW that he has no idea what the settlement was about, or if there even was a settlement, is what is normally called 'a cover up'-because he had to know if he was the CEO

There are more roaches behind the toeboard just waiting to get out. Cain is over.

You can't do anything. There are only like 10 million of you
2011-10-31 18:06:22 UTC
Sure why not? That way, just like what happened with Donald Trump, you are made to look like a fool when there's no factual evidence to back up what you say.

Let's hear the Charges! If he has nothing to fear, let him reveal the specific allegations!

Where is Trump when you need him?

Yes.

I think we should make ALL of the GOP candidates supply birth certificates, diplomas and marriage certificates, and then call each of the documents fake. That's the way the GOP rolls....

No, you should treat it like you treated the Clinton sex scandal by saying "who cares?"
2011-10-31 18:06:34 UTC
Give us the proof it happened.

Liberals fear Cain.
