Question:
When Republicans look out at the world around them, do they see price tags hanging on everything?

For Example: When they see an oak tree, do they calculate the number of board feet contained in it or how many dining tables could be made from it?

When they see a Dolphin or Pelican, do they calculate how much money is lost from their presence?

Does the same thing apply to the people they see? What is their monetary value?

It seems to me from reading posts here and listening to their radio heros that they see anything external to them and their immediate family as objects, having monetary value or lack of.

You must be kidding, right? The VAST majority of republicans, like the vast majority of democrats, are just regular hard working people.

When we see an Oak tree, we appreciate its beauty. When we see animals and wildlife, we appreciate them as well. We respect the environment and do our best to take care of our planet.

With people, I see their potential with regard to how kind they are to others, not how much money they are worth.

And, I have no heroes on the radio. My heroes are people like John F. Kennedy ("Ask not what your country can do for you..."), Martin Luther King Jr ("Judge a man by the content of his character"), Ghandi, my Father-In-Law (he was killed while in the US Navy), my Sister-in-law (a cancer survivor) and my parents (my Mom is a lifelong liberal, my Dad is a lifelong conservative. They have been happily married for 43 years).

To assume otherwise is just prejudiced and ignorant.

If you were intelligent, you'd realize that everything DOES have a price. Every time you blow your nose or flush the toilet.... SOMEONE is paying the bill.

SO... if you want to be able to PROVIDE or MAINTAIN services and goods... you have to be INTELLIGENT enough to be thinking of the financial "back end" or you will find yourself bankrupt.... like the post office... like Social Security... like Medicare.... like Medicaid...

We deal with the world as it actually is, not the fairy tale that libs imagine it to be.

Republicans "know the price of everything, but the value of nothing."
