If right wing loon are attacking President Obama for taking 65 days in 18 months that means they agreed with the left wing loons that attacked George Bush for taking 120 days in 18 months.

Seriously have you ever made a list of all the things the right wing loons say? uh, he is a Muslim who sat in a Christian church for 20 years. He never accomplished anything when he has one of the longest list of accomplishments I have ever seen, His mother was a bum with a Phd. who traveled the world helping the poorest people. McCain is an average guy despite the fact his mother is an oil heiress. Socialism when Bush was the one that got everyone on food stamps not Clinton. Barney Frank did everything but the republicans involved in things are ignored. Mrs. Bush killed her b/f by crashing into his car. His name was Michael Douglas but lets ignore that & talk about Kennedy being a drunk & ignore that W didn't even have a license until he was in his 30's cause of DWI's. Bush took 120 days in 18 months ONLY by counting each and every day that he ventured outside of the White House for ANY REASON at all - even with his staff, cabinet etc - even for official business. During the Bush years, lying Democrats ACTUALLY claimed "not in the White House" ALWAYS = "vacation."

Obama has quite literally taken 65 days OFF. It's unprecedented.

To be fair, much of Bush's vacation time was to Texas, but apparently he ran things from there much like he did in Washington. I think taxpayer's wallets and the Constitution would be much safer if Obama would take more frequent vacations. If only Congress would spend as much time off...

yes it would be nice if they would admit it and admit it was wrong like Im admitting 65 days of vacation is too many also.Heck if my husband could take 65 vacation days in a little over a year that would be sweet and his job isnt anywhere near as important as running a country.

are those both facts? anyway, i think they should take vacations. it's probably the most stressful job in the world. how else can someone keep his or her sanity without totally relinquishing responsibility for a small time... even then, they're still president... and if duty calls when the president is busy doing, anything, probably ANYTHING, he's suddenly busy with something else... so, technically, the president is never on a complete vacation.
