Question:
For the sake of those sick and suffering, are you glad that Obama was decisively rebuked on his public option?

VANCOUVER, CANADA
When the pain in Christina Woodkey's legs became so severe that she could no longer hike or cross-country ski, she went to her local health clinic. The Calgary, Canada, resident was told she'd need to see a hip specialist. Because the problem was not life-threatening, however, she'd have to wait about a year.

So wait she did.

In January, the hip doctor told her that a narrowing of the spine was compressing her nerves and causing the pain. She needed a back specialist. The appointment was set for Sept. 30. 'When I was given that date, I asked when could I expect to have surgery,' said Woodkey, 72. 'They said it would be a year and a half after I had seen this doctor.'

So this month, she drove across the border into Montana and got the $50,000 surgery done in two days. 'I don't have insurance. We're not allowed to have private health insurance in Canada,' Woodkey said. 'It's not going to be easy to come up with the money. But I'm happy to say the pain is almost all gone.

i think you are living in FOX fantasy land. No one has "rebuked" Obama. Do you know what that word means by the way?

Like your other question about the public options untimely death, you are wrong and making up facts once again that do not exist. Where is your source?

The public option will be included in the FINAL bill after the House gets it and adds what it needs. It will pass with 51 to 55 votes and will be signed into law!

Yes, he's a citizen. Case closed...except of path, you're a proper-wing moon bat. The reality is, the federal government does this little factor referred to as a "history examine" earlier than they limitation safety clearances. Obama will get everyday intelligence briefings which include categorized expertise. Think approximately this: simply consider that the country's safety organizations under no circumstances did history tests at the humans who're getting categorized expertise. Why then might the a long way proper lunatics suppose it is a better situation that Obama used to be elected president? Why might they now not have a situation with intelligence organizations giving away out categorized expertise to anybody who requested? The indisputable fact that the wild-eyed proper turns out to disregard this special query is evidence optimistic that Obama is a US citizen, and that they are going to hunch to any degree whatever to get him out (authorized or in any other case) seeing that they with no trouble are not able to manage the truth that they did this type of dangerous process within the final eight years, they misplaced to a black guy with a humorous identify and little enjoy.

She made the appointment, drove over the border and had the surgery within 2 days? I doubt that.

Even American citizens who have good health insurance can't get surgery within 2 days unless it's an emergency.

It is not illegal for Canadians to have or to purchase private health insurance. Surgery in only two days would have to have been emergency surgery, or it was performed in a private clinic with a prearrangement. Your tale is unrealistic and has nothing whatsoever to do with the public option proposal.

Since Canadians ARE allowed to have private insurance, I doubt the veracity of your story.

In any case, it's well-known to the Canadian health system that occasionally it makes sense to cross the border for treatment. Quite often, the Canadian government reimburses them for this. See if Cigna will reimburse you for a surgery that they don't cover. Good luck.

Everything: Incorrect. Extend your research beyond conservative talking points. Canadians get private insurance similar to what our seniors call "Medigap" to cover things not covered (or under-covered) by their national system. As you might expect, it's far, FAR less expensive than what we pay the swine at CIGNA and Aetna.

And people here want what Canada wants.

Go figure! The grass is NOT always greener on the other side. YOu take your problems with you if you don't fix them. We are not fixing the problem..just trading one for the other!

g...those people that died one week after losing health insurance was going to die anyways from cancer. ONE WEEK and even TWO YEARS will not give you life. Look at Patrick Swayze!

FACT...PEOPLE WILL DIE...and some will not make sense. It didn't make sense my granddaughter died because a T.V. fell on her head and it caused a blood clot on the top of the spine that goes into the head. BUT IT HAPPENS! Having health care will NOT STOP DEATH!

AND DAVID..you are DEAD WRONG ABOUT CANADA. Just a couple months ago CANADA said they were going to start considering privatized health care because they are imploding on government health care.

What does some sick lady in Canada have to do with the US health care system?

Obama doesn't want us to have Canadian health care.

NO. Quite the opposite. The sick and suffering just got screwed because the repugs only care about themselves and protecting their money.

Anything Obama says is a lie just like when He stated Obamacare would not cover abortion after He specifically told Planned Parenthood it would cover "reproductive choice" and like He said it would not cover illegal aliens but failed to specify what we would do with s sick one at a US hospital... let them die? Obamacare is not about "health" or "care", it is about CONTROL of the industry just like He has assumed control over the auto, unions (with their blessings), and finacial institutions.

what about all the sick and suffering that do die in the U.S.?

I know two people that died magically in a week after they lost their insurance from cancer?

I would rather wait a year than die...
