everyone thinks that he's the worst pres. we have ever had. "he's breaking the law, he's killing our troops" bla bla bla. first of all, that wire tapping, what a great idea!!! if he can track terrorist from this, great!!! stop it befor it happens. tace the call and put a 50 cal, right between their eyes.
"he's killing out troops" thats just bull. i have a total of 7 years in the middle east. sure alot of troops are crying. but they signed up for it!! let them cry. if you read into this alittle more, i he's also making a statement. he's letting everyone know that if your even thinking of messing with the u.s you'll pay the price. has anyone seen any planes crashing into buildings? any bombs on u.s soil? no! they have tried and been cought befor it could happen.
i don't really think alot of you have the right to even talk about it unless you have been in the armed forces, been shot at or seen your friends die. just sit at your computers and complain.

Your obviously not a American and have no clue about freedom of speech, this is where you are going to have to start. If you understand the Constitution and Bill of Rights, you will understand American Democracy.

Well no one sits here and denies that what people in the military ( in which I have many friends that are over in Iraq, Afgahn) are not doing a job that deserves recognition you are missing the entire point obviously. You say he is sending a message to anyone to not mess with the US...then why are countries starting to mess with the US? North Korea, Russia, Iran, Venezuela?? More and more are doing it so how can you even say that. If anything being over there and not accomplishing jack is making other hostile countries think that we can get the job done, that is scary. No one has a problem with wire tapping suspected terrorists, unknown to many but there has always been key words that trigger tapping throughout the years, now this just gives him the power to tap anyone anytime no matter who and use the Patriot act as the reason. Remember Nixon had to resign before being impeached for the very laws Bush breaks daily. Swallow that...and let me comment on your stupid theory of no attacks here on US soil since 9/11. Hey we aren't even fighting the people that are suppose to have done it, so how are we stopping them in the first place? Again if you were indeed in the forces and did fight, thanks, but don't blow piss down my back and tell me its raining, because we aren't morons for the most part and don't need you to tell us how it should be....come with credit and facts and maybe we will listen.

Bush bashers have the right because it says so in the Constitution. Our soldiers in the Middle East as part of their oath swore to DEFEND the Constitution. The two go together. If you're in the Middle East to just be a badass and kickass then you are just part of the problem. We have no business in the arab countries except to buy their oil. For all we should care they can sodomize all their camels just sell us the oil. We'll buy it. Its not any of our business what type of govt they have or what religion they want even if they want to worship their goats. If you don't think that the policies that the US has pursued in the Middle East or around the world for that matter doesn't have an affect on history or the local people whose lands we're in then you are ripe for being cannon fodder. Plain and simple. If you don't believe in blowback then you're as dumb as Guiliani. I'm not excusing those poor excuses for humans that were involved in perpetrating 9/11 but to some degree we were asking for it. I hate to say it but we've been going around for talking too much and carrying a big stick. Only now some kids ran up and grabbed the stick and whacked us back with it. They then ran away and melted back into the crowd. Just the same way that the insurgents do in Iraq. The best thing that we could do over there is get out and let them kill each other. We'll buy the oil from whover is left standing. At that point, we warn them that if they mess with us again we'll nuke them plain and simple and with no warning. Don't welcome them into this country or anywhere else for that matter. This country is being bankrupted by these idiotic wars. We had Bin Laden in our sights and the Pentagon CHOSE to let him escape. The troops were ready and just had to be move in place to block. Why? Nobody has been able to answer that. Line up for Bush's RFID chip that you'll want to be implanted in your rear that together with your national ID card will put you in a place similar to Nazi Germany in the 30's and 40's. For the loudmouths that don't like dissent or the 1st Amendment you'll feel right at home. For the Love it or Leave it crowd - well think about what you're saying - The people that are complaining do love this country that's WHY they are speaking out in order to save it from mindless drones that just march to the tune that the powers that be play for them. You better learn from history or else you're gonna end up somebody's slave that is unless of course you've already aligned yourself with the slavemaster. In that matter then you've kissed your soul good-bye. God Help You When Its Too Late.

These people have more than a right to speak whats on there mind, they have an obligation. We have people who have put there life on the line to secure our freedoms, to not exercise those freedoms is an insult.

As far as Bush being the worst president ever, I'm a little skeptical. I don't believe anyone on yahoo was alive during the industrial revolution period of presidents. He is not the worst, but not the best either.

The issue I have with the wire tapping is not that it is happening, but that it may happen without a court order. We have a series of checks and balances for a reason and they should be preserved.

I agree that people who sign up for service should be prepared for battle, but we need to take care of these people mentally and physically when they get home.

I'm sure we will have another incident of terrorism in the future. If someone wants to trade there life for another, it is hard to stop them. I don't believe President Bush is directly responsible for not having another attack. It took many years to set up the 911 attacks and it took a great deal of money also.

I have the right to complain about him because of a little piece of paper called the Constitution. The President is not above the law, nor above reproach, if I feel he is wrong I have the right to say so.

Illegal wiretapping is wrong. We are the greatest nation on earth lets start acting like a civilized nation. There is a right and a wrong way to do things.

The threat of terrorism does not mean all laws and rights are thrown out the window in the name of fighting terrorism.

There were no planes flying into buidlings before either, so that argument does not work with me and never will.

Well hate to burst bubbles but the fact is as an American I have the right to voice my opinion. I also have the right to vote. Yes, the man was voted into office. He is the president of the entire country, not just the military. Even Powell, who not only served in the military, but also service as a cabinet member was against the Iraq war. Even Ford who service as President of this country was against the Iraq war!!

Another little bubble burst, I know Republicans who have service in the military who thinks he is a horrible president.

As for plots being foiled here why would that be happening?? Why would anyone plan an attack here, don't they know we are fighting in the middle east so we won't be fighting here.

just to let you know...bush's approval rating is near 30%. Whoa!!! The best prez eva!!!!!!!!! We have a huge deficit because of him, be cuz of his tax cuts. His tax cuts are heavily skewered toward the rich. He's sending more and more troops to die in iraq everyday for no reason. We don't have to be there. Our troops do not have to die like this. If we stayed in afghanistan and finished the job there, less troops would die. Things are going better in afghanistan than in iraq, and we have less troops there. Think of what would happen if we put more troops there. We would get the job done really fast. Bush and his invasion made iraq a problem They also made it a hot spot for terrorists. Terrorists were never as active there as they are now. So now all we have to say is we spread al-qaIDA TO ANOTHER NATION, AND WE COMPLETELY RUINED THE COUNTRY. sure we got saddam, but that only caused more problems. People now have to worry about IED's, when they never had to before. At least there was law and order in iraq whwn saddam was there. We got saddam. We did our share of establishing a democracy in iraq. Let the army and the people do their part.bSave our soldiers lives and bring them home!!!!

So..what you're ultimately saying is...only a Bush supporter can voice their opinion, right?

What a stupid thing for you to say-only one who has been in the armed forces has a right to an opinion?!

I may not have been in the armed forces but I've had friends and relatives who have.

But regardless-this is a FREE COUNTRY, therefore EVERYONE is FREE to voice their opinion. We follow everything that is going on and we can determine for ourselves whether we'll support Bush or not.

That's life-deal with it!

I've heard some military people say "if you haven;t been there you have no right to complain". Bull sh_t. I have every right and responsibility to complain if I see our president taking this country on a dangerous path. Military service isn't a prerequisite for citizenship. If you're going to stand there and salute while ignoring the mistakes of our president then you're part of the problem.

You fought to give us the right to bash bush, and you for that matter. Gotta love freedom of speech. Also, it's called SPELLCHECK and it's not that hard to use, especially when you post a question. In the meantime I will sit at my computer and complain and on occasion pop into the bar and complain.

They have the same right to complain as you do to complain about them complaining.

Thanks for serving, but did you forget WHY you served. I may agree with you but please state your thoughts and wait for a reply. Crying about people that agree with you or not just makes you, conservative OR liberal, look like an idiot.

I'm conservative and like GW but you my friend sound line a whiny *** with a statement like that!! You had to have been in the Air Force! Hope I didn't offend you....

This is my opinion:

Bush is the worst president that we have ever had.

I think all Bush supporters, especially the fools who voted for him the second time, deserve to have their right to vote rescinded based on mental incompetence.
2007-06-11 20:32:31 UTC
There's this little thing you were defending, it's called the Constitution of the United States. That's what gives us our right to voice our comments, whether you agree with them or not.

P.S. Thank you for your service. Now do a little reading to find out what you were serving.

Is there a question buried somewhere in that blathering?

Americans have a right to express their opinions. If you don't like what one group has to say, then DON'T LISTEN TO IT.
2007-06-11 20:43:43 UTC
First let me say THANK YOU for you courage and sacrifice!!!!!(I mean that sincerely)

next let me say I agree with you about all the good things that these idiots are whining about!!!!

However the Constitution does protect their right to be big whiny babies that cannot be thankful for the GREAT NATION they live in, they need to remember that just because brave men like you will fight and die for their rights we don't have to listen to them no matter how loud they whine, and until they infringe on our rights under the same Constitution we will continue to protect them, but when they want our rights gone we will rise up and squash them like the cockroaches that they are!!!!!!

From this Bush supporter. Of course they have the right. They are Americans. Simple as that.

Of course, we have the right to ignore their ridiculous statements, which I constantly do.

Your question is also disrespecting the president. You refer to President Bush as bush.
2007-06-11 20:33:11 UTC
By that reasoning Mr George W Bush shouldn't say a damn word

as the world knows HE WENT AWOL when he was supposed to be serving

Same rights that allow you to spout your for-Bush rhetoric.
